1988 268 Shore Power / Battery charger

Hi All:

If a 1988 Sea Ray 268 Weekender has shore power, would that mean it also has a battery charger within the shore power system? If not, would it be difficult to install one?

You should have one. look at your breaker panel for a switch for it

I would think there is one installed, the breaker will most likely be labled converter.

Thanks for the info. All I am waiting for at this point is the owner to find a new boat. His wife doesnt want to be without a boat so I hope they find one soon.
