Its a 300 DA 1987.
Engines

I have to get my starboard out drive up. When i got my boat that engine was in pieces. still is and will replacing it. There is no power nor means to get it connected. I need to know how i can and what cables to do this with. At the tilt trim pump, i have the red and black connected right.
I have a black small cable heading into the pvc towards the bow.
I have a green small cable heading into the pvc towards Aft.
i have my red and blk coming from pump and are grouped with the second black and green cable.
I have two battery cables, Both red, one is covered one isn't. I suspects the covered is pos and not is neg ground. To get power to my out drive which wire's do i need connected?

I've used a 12v cordless drill battery to raise the out-drive as long as the hydraulics are still functioning. The drill battery will be enough power to get the pump working, you just have to touch the right wires to the battery. There's a ground wire and then two more wires, one for up and down.

One of those "Jumper Packs" will do the job. Easy enough to make up a couple of lengths of wire with alligator clips on each end if you can't get the jumper pack close enough.
