i have a 1987 340 sundancer the trim is burgandy.. my dash is all faded where do i buy paint or gel coat to refinish or doe's anyone have other suggestions also can you buy new instrument faces for guages..?? thanks

You can buy all new gauges, but not ones like it left the factory with, unless you can find them on ebay or something. The dash is painted, and I can't remember the company that originally made it, but I wouldn't bother looking for them. Go to an automotive paint store and get a two part paint by DuPont or PPG and refinish it with that. You'll probably need a flat paint, or a flattening agent in the paint as you don't want it glossy because of the glare.

My 300 has blue trim.
I replaced almost all of my gauges this year. The only one that I still have is the synch because I coudn't find one that looks good with the rest of the new gauges I got, but I'm still looking.
The gauges are all standard sizes, the one thing that I found different was that the originals had ring connectors and the replacements have blade connectors. Not a big deal, I just made a bunch of pigtails up and connected them. The factory harness was a little too tight to be clipping off old connectors and connecting new ones without extending the wires a couple of inches.
I've been tempted to re-do my dash too, but resisted because in order to do it right I'd have to remove the windshield and frame.
In the meantime I cleaned it reallly well and treated it with 303 Protectant. It still looks faded, but it looks a little better.
