Anyone can help me with making my table down into a bed. I think I
may be missing somthing. I take the leg down placing the top between the two seats.
Now there is a space between that seems to need another cushon. All I have is the back rest from the end toward the v birth the one towArds the entry is fixed perminatly. Then thre is the long one on the port side. Can anyone fill me in ,am I missing a part?

We have a 1988 268DA and there are 2 extra cushions for that.

Same here, I have two extra little cushions for that.

I was thinking of taking the whole dinette out and replacing it with a couch. The dinette will only seat two and is too small to sleep in anyway. Has anyone done this or seen it done?

You should have three cushions total. Two shorties and one long one. You need to slide the seat cushions towards the galley. they ride on tracks. The gap between the seat cusion and the side of the vessel is where the long one goes. If you have the factory table, you unfold it and place on the rails between the two dining seats. Then place the two shorties side by side on the table and Viola! You have your converted dinnette. Most people with the 268's don't know that the two dining cushions ride on tracks and slide out.

If you find this or try turning that into a couch, I would really like to see pics!
