1986 SeaRay Weekender 230 horn not working

Hi All

All I can get out of my twin horns is a slight buzzing sound. Does anyone know what this could be? Also...are these horns simple 12v electric?

I can't find much on this old boat.

I had the same problem. It turned out to be a bad ground wire. I cut the ground wire put a new end on it and reconnect to negative bank. Hopefully this helps...

I had to replace the diaphragm on mine. Fairly easy, just a few screws and swap out.
