1986 340DA, Possible Interest In Buying

Mark
What about what Frank said regarding a mid to late 90s vintage 330DA? VERY popular boat, many out there, even on the repo sites (if you're looking for a project).

I will keep an eye out. Weekender only or Dancer as well? A gentleman at my club has a 300 dancer, late 80's boat. Although he has not mentioned selling it, I spoke with him at length some time back and he was telling me about some medical issues he may be going through. I will keep my eyes/ears open for you.

Mark, there was some very sage advise in the previous replys. I own a 1987 DA 340 and love it (of course I want a bigger boat, but who of us doesn't). My son owns a 1984 DA 340. Both vessels have been very good to us. To me, owning an 80's Sea Ray is like owning a Harley, it's a life style. But, having said that, if you really get serious about making this purchase......do yourself a big favor and have a complete survey done, hull and engines, and don't forget the tranny's, doing this could save you a bundle of cash and time. Hope everything works out for you. Keep us posted.
