I'm looking at a 1985 sundancer that had the helm seat removed. Is there a aftermarket seat I can buy? Could I replace it with a 2000 style seat or would that look tacky?

It's really too bad we are such a distance away, because I have a blue helm seat out of an '88 that I'm getting ready to pitch. I would have given it to ya. There's plenty of aftermarket seat suppliers/custom refitters, but I'm sure you know that they will cost a small fortune. I would hit up the boat salvage yards and you might get lucky with finding one from that era that is a closer match to the original than a "modern" seat. Good luck!

i have a 85 sundancer 250 and would like to know how i can keep the water from getting into the cabin area below. my aft cabin gets soaked ever time it rains. The stair drain is not enough to stop it. Is there a door sweep or seal I could put on the door?
