My dad and I had a 1981 with an OMC in the very early 90's. Other than the outdrive, it was an absolutely outstanding boat. Superb layout, great handling, very comfortable, and extremely quiet. Still have never seen a 21 that I like as much.

Which towel? The big bright white towel hanging off the entire back half? : )

I agree, it does take a lot away from the picture. I snapped some quick shots while down for the weekend with my wife, son and one of his friends.

I added some pictures (link above) of our 1982 260 SD owned jointly with my brother (KRB64 member here) and father.

I like your taste in boats. My dad has an '81 260 DA (also with a 502), a good friend has an '82 260 DA with a 454 Mag MPI, and His brother has an '84 260 DA with twin 350's. And I have the '83 listed in my sig.

Thanks, it seems to be a great boat so far.

I have posted an interior shot. I don't have any real good ones yet, will try and get more. The Cuddy and the Sundancer both have a lot of teak on the interior. We really enjoy and admire the classic Sea Rays.

They are on Dale Hollow Lake, southern Kentucky/northern Tennessee. It is a very nice lake. Clear water and nice beaches to pull up on.

Our 1978 240 Weekender is up for sale and we hope to post some pictures soon. It has all the teak inside as well.

Great looking boat. I noticed it was at Dale Hollow. I went to Cumberland Sea Ray to buy 84 207 Monaco. It spent its entire life on Dale Hollow. You know aboat is clean when you drive 812 miles to get it.

Cool pics.

Kids sure do make for a messy boat though huh?

That first shot was of 5 ten-year old girls on a 26' boat for a 3 day birthday party!

Cumberland SR is a pretty good sized dealer for around here. Servicing Lake Cumberland. Dale Hollow is a much slower lake with very little lakeside developement so it stays pretty clean. You can still get your bottom gunked up but it takes a little while.

When did you get your boat and how do you like it? I'm heading to TX week after next.
