...and some pictures of the 210 Cuddy I am refurbishing the rear sundeck on. Seems like every chance I get to take a photo of it there is a towel hanging off of it or sitting on it somewhere lol.

Couple of the photos are a view from one of the coves we stayed overnight in back in 2009 on Dale Hollow Lake.

I added some more pictures. Just some details of the 1982 Cuddy. I added dual batteries and a switch for them some years ago. Added pictures of that setup.

You may have the answers I'm looking for! I bought my 1982 210 cc 3 years ago. The rear seats and sundeck had been Re upholstered by the previous owner and the lid never would open properly. I've noticed that mine may be deeper than others of similar years. There is room under there to store both halves of the camper top plus a rack for skis. Unfortunately it can't really be used because it'll only open almost half way before it hits the teak grab rail on the back. If you could shed some light on how a properly operating factory sundeck is set up I'd be forever in your debt! I can't find anything anywhere! By the way you have a very clean 210!

Hmm. Mine opens up to where it is about at a 90 degree angle to the boat and that is about it I think. My padding starts to hit the back teak grab rail as well. My camper top sits on top of the padded deck if I have it with me. There is space for it above the ski racks like you say but no slots for the top frame to go down into.

The bought it from the original owner and he took meticulous care of it. The camper top was kept resting on the rear deck pad and I assumed that is where it was always stored. I took it off and only put it on if we plan to camp overnight.

I will be glad to take pictures or get measurements if you need them.
