1980 270 Sedan Bridge Rehab Begins

hi, This is great to see. I have an 81 srv255. I wonder what is this grid made of? I can't tell if it's wood with fiberglass or ? This is going to be a great project! Paladin

Looks to be marine grade wood with a coating of some kind of paint. Has been there a long time and is in perfect condition. about start putting a synthetic teak there on top of sub-floor that is made of the same wood.

You've probably already figured this out, but the "two steel brackets" on the bulkhead are for a seat (or table maybe) to hang on, with the tongues that go into the brackets being on the seat edge or table edge. I have the same ones in my cockpit on my transom, for a bench seat there. paladin

Yes that is what someone else said, but there is this box right between them that sticks out a few inches so I not sure how sturdy a table or seat would be.

Well its been a wild first half of the year now after 3 bypass then trip for acute pancreatitis and farther inlaw dying. I think I'll get back to work on this boat.

And the first thing going to do is rewire these battery switches. Some body stuff them in either side compartment on deck. Not bolted done and they only run each motor and the house independently but not together. Is there only one way they can be wired or what should the fuction be for each switch.

Yes, well the seat has two folding legs attached to its bottom, to stabilize it. The metal fixtures just hold it to the transom...

Welcome back. Illness is bad, glad you're healthier.
