Hello. My name is Brent, I live in Michigan and just found the this forum which looks great!
Well, Here is my current project.
My father bought this boat in 1985 and my brother and I grew up fishing on Lake Michigan with it. My father sold it in 1998 and about a month ago I located the person that had bought it. Boat has not been in the water since 2001 and I currently just had all new canvas built for it. Currently I have redone all the wood and gutted it right down to the floor. Seat cushions are just about done and I am just starting to recarpet the whole boat.
I had another boat last year that I took a skill saw (and jigsaw) to the floor ,cut it out, and completely rebuilt it from the ground up. I said that would never work on another boat again and then I found this one. With all the memories on it I just had to do it.
Here she is the day I brought her home. When finished I'll post a link to the before and after pics if anyone is interested.
