I'm looking for an owners manual for a 1978 Sea Ray SRV 300 Weekender.

I have one for mine. I will make copies for you if you would like something in particular...Jay

jffacets,

how long have you owned the 300WE? I am eyeing the 300WE as my next boat. I've always liked the styling. How is the handling in rough/calm seas? How is she for overnight? Inboards? I/O? Any negatives?

Hello from Croatia!!!
Ghuskin, I own srv300 for 6 years or more I use it for commercial service as a hospital boat, search and rescue, and things like that. I need to go when nobody else can.
I also own 1988 300 weekender and 1991 3300 wellcraft st.tropez, they cannot and I mean CANNOT!!! compare in handling as the old 1978 300 srv!!!
She is strong and reliable I doubt that anybody will ever make that kind of a hull.
In fact, I will trade my Wellcraft for old srv 300 anytime!!! Even with gas engines!!!
Mine is powered with twin volvo tamd 41 diesels they fit perfect, I get 23 knots cruising and 26 max, also have westerbeke 8kw generator, air condition, eberspacher air heater etc...
If you have any other questions, just ask, I will be happy to help.
Goran
