I have a '77 SRV 220 Cuddy that needs a new cover for the anchor storage compartment (small storage area up at the bow, between the teak rails). The wood is rotted pretty bad. Where can I find a replacement cover, or the plans/specifications to make a new one. Where can I get the white outer layer? Do I need to use a special wood/material to make a new one?

Thanks!

on my 240 the cover was a lexan type material
I made a new one out of 1" wide mahogany strips edged with teak.
and gave my old one away to someone else here that needed one for a restoration.

I have the same thing on my 76 SRV 195 but mines teak but if its rotten yours probably not teak. You could go the mahogany route or just get a piece of pressure treated plywood fiberglass and gel coat it to match the boat your options are kinda open.

Roemere,

let me know what you plan to do. I can take photos and measurements should you decide to build a new one.
