looking for engine wire diagrm cant find a book any were ,need to know the coil wires guy i got it from changed coil and never put wire back on it dont know witch color goes on the + or - would love the help:grin:

Purple wire to the + terminal, the other one goes to the - terminal. The purple wire is a resistor wire so you do not burn the points up too quick.

You could have a purple/yellow wire to the + terminal, there should be a gray wire and a black wire on the - terminal, black from the Dist.

This manual should cover your engine, drive and electrical system that is connected to the engine and drive. It should have a collection of wiring diagrams and at least one of them should fit your setup. Hope this helps
