Hello all, I just joined Club Sea Ray today. Yesterday we had our project boat delivered to our house so hopefully it can hit the water by next spring. My first of many questions is this; does anybody have any good ideas how to keep the sliding side windows from leaking water?
Thanks

On a 76 that might be a challenge. Id take the screws out and cut the window out, clean it up and reinstall it with a quality caulk. I'm parting out a 1978 Express 30 ft. Sea Ray. Its not a fly bridge but some things may be the same. Let me know and good luck. John jpc2594@yahoo.com

Could this be related to the recent thread regarding "flocking"? Sounds like the OP of that thread was attempting to seal his sliders. Check into it at about six or seven posts under this one. It dates back to 2011 but the info may be current. Just a thought, good luck.

Mines gone now, but I never succeeded in sealing all the windows. Eventually I caulked them all closed except the one that opens in the head. That one always leaked, but mostly in the shower basin. Now I have new boat with new leaks to fix..Good luck

Thanks for the input. I appreciate the help, but found I have bigger problems than leaky windows.
