I came across this boat on my local CL and it seems to have alot of potential and i wanted to find out if these particular boats have any known trouble spots or anything i need to look for. This boat was last in the water about 2 year ago and didn't have any issues as far as i know. I do know it needs a new floor and the interior completely redone, current owner bought as a project but has lost interest and needs to get rid of it, he he says the hull and transom are solid. Gonna go put eyes on it this evening and verify myself.

As a project, what are these worth?

After owning some old boats myself, this could very well be a case of the knee bone connected to the thigh bone story. Rotten floor could very well be rotten stringers and rotted transom as well . Fuel tank, da da da and the list goes on.

Only you can make this call. As far as worth, he should pay you to haul it off, but what do I know

Well when i went to look at the boat in person, its dirty but seems to be very solid, and its an SRV 200 with a 455 olds and a Berkeley jet drive not a 220. Not sure if that makes any difference.

The hull and the transom are solid and the stringers looked good as far as i could tell, hour meter showed a shade over 600 hours which i think for the age isn't to bad at all.
