This was an old rag of a boat. now it's getting close to being done. Sanded down and hull faired. Repainted. Trailer re-done. New upholstery. New curtains, New foam in all the cushions. Interior stripped all the wood work re done all the interior re-finished. No lead conversions done on both heads. One engine rebuilt. Both outdrives rebuilt. New props. Both gimball assemblys gone through. Currently buying and installing new electronics, interior lights. Some of the wiring has been re-done new electrical panels, new battery switches, new fuse panels. Tank pulled, cleaned and tested. New fill, & fuel hoses and etc. I'm still finding and addressing issues as they turn up. Hope to see you on the water. Colorado lakes, Lake Powell, Probably San Juans soon. Last years best comment; You're sxxxxxxx me that boat isn't a 74 we were looking for a couple of year old boat & really like the looks of that one we were sure it was new. Next projects, Straighten some bowed handrails, build a new sailing dinghy light enough to carry on the swim platform, finish the electronics. Beachfront Property. I only have 3 or 4 times what it's worth wrapped up in it.

Old boats like that are labor of love. You will never get out of them what you put in but you sure do get teh sense of satisfaction knowing how hard you worked on it. There is no better pride in ownership than a boat you have rehab'd.

Beautiful boat. My parent's owned one for years when I was growing up in Green Bay. I looked long and hard for another just like it but finally ended up with a Sorrento 25 instead 20 years later.
