1972 impeller kit help

My nephew just bought a 72 22 foot searay and I want him to replace the impeller in the outdrive because he has no idea how old it is. It's a small block v8 and he was told it was a pre alpha outdrive. Not sure if that's the correct term. At any rate could someone help me with a part # or a link where I can figure it out?

R drive. Look up 46-96148a8 kit plus 46-44292a3 base. Be sure and change the base assembly.
