Hi Everyone, Is there still any 195 sport owners out there ?
We are about to enter our summer months in Australia and its time to pull my boat out of the garage and get it ready.

I'm in a 195 BR 5 series but mine is a model year 1995

Great to hear from you. Doesnt matter what year it is as long as you enjoy these fanatastic boats.
Mine is a 2009 Searay Sport with a 4.3MPI.

I'm sure that they are completely different animals, but I love love love my 195 BR. Mine has the 4.3 litre V6 as well but it is not fuel injected, its carbureted and I'm running the Alpha I Gen II outdrive. I trailer mine to and from the lake so its the perfect size for me; Goldielocks not too big not too small, just right!
I would love to upgrade to electronic fuel injection but my current setup functions so well I can't justify the expense just because of "a want" you know the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"

I most certainly get misty eyed over the HP numbers and performance promises of the newer technology but then I take a ride on the lake and fall in love with the way she runs and the simplicity of the current setup ........................

Thats great, Going to change the oil and oil filter this weekend and put a coat of polish on mine, check the wheel berings on the trailer and get her ready for summer.

in the next couple of weeks I will be winterizing mine and putting her to sleep for the winter!! My wife and I vacationed in Australia a couple of years ago we absolutely loved it!

Picked up our 2008 195 Sport this past spring. Love it.
5.0 MPI, with plenty of pull. Sadly having it winterized today.

This whole winterizing this is so annoying (albeit necessary) where are you in Canada?? I have family in Canada, when visiting we go to Wasago Beach

Dont have to worry about winterising in Melbourne as it doesnt get that cold here.
We store our boat and Seadoo in my Brothers garage next to his Bayliner.

Glad to hear that you guys had a great time here. Was in the USA in 2008 for a holiday and 2012 for the Sema show for work and on both occasions we had a fantastic time.

Yep got my 2013 195SP in the garage. Hoping to boat for another month or so here in NC.

Cheers
TK

Ok Guys, Changed the oil, oil filter, cleaned and repacked wheel bearings and hubs. And gave both the boat and Seadoo a polish. A friend of mine is a boat builder and shipwright and he told me the best polish to use is Farecla Profile UV Wax. It is the best polish that i have ever used. Even do the cars with it.
