I have a 98 175 5series with a 3.0. I am wondering about prop choices. The drive is 2.0. I believe most had a 1.98...if that helps. Sea ray suggests a 14.25x23 on the closest match I could find using there prop chart.....Any suggestions and experience would be appreciated. I am looking for an all around prop to operate in the prop wot range, maybe an occasional kneeboarding but mostly cruising.

14.25 X 21 3 blade either aluminum or stainless should do what you want it to do. I you find you need a little more WOT RPM, then step down to a 14.25 X 19 three blade.
