Read in the Paper today that it'll be 15 years since TWA 800 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in the Summer of 1996. I had just gotten in the reserves in '91 and this was our Cargo Handling Battalions "First Real Mission" (other than Annual Training)! We were stationed at Shinecock CG Station receiving the wreckage and at Calverton the Facility where they would store and later reassemble the Airplane. God Rest Their Souls!
