My 96 330DA Sundancer has the 12 volt lighting reversed. In replacing my CEC 1141 overhead salon and "head" light bulbs, (that resemble tail light bulbs), with LEDs, I discovered that the new LEDs did not work but when hooked to a battery with the center post connected to positive they did work. Has anyone had this problem and would it cause any problem to just switch the wires going into each light fixture? All the other bulbs can simply be installed in whichever way works

Nope; no problem. While the old-school incandescents don't care about polarity, it "should" be common practice to have wired the outer shell to whatever ground the system was using. I'm surprised to hear yours was wired "backwards".

Mine are about 60/40 wired the right way. The rest required getting in and switching the two blue wires.

I saw the same thing when I replaced my nav lights. You can just reverse the wires.

Guess what I just did... Hint: my last cabin light is now working with led bulbs lol Thanks again for posting the question and answers.
