12- Volt Cabin Fans - Question

I'm looking at outfitting our 99' 240DA with some hard-wired (i.e. mounted) 12V cabin fans. Does anyone have any experience with the Caframo fans that West Marine sells? I'm sure that the Hellas may perform a bit better, but the blade protection (grill) appears to let little fingers in, and I want my son to be able to write when he grows up

Any other brand suggestions are appreciated as well...

I've found the Caframo's to be nice. The Hella's tend to be noisier - throw a little more air, but definitely noiser. Check out how much each one draws (amps), if that's a consideration.
