for some reason this quit working. is there a separate fuse for this accessory plug. If so where is it?

Using a 12 volt tester on the 2 leads (red & black) to the lighter Make sure it’s getting power. If it is replace the lighter socket with a new one. They’re less than 10 bucks. If you don’t have power trace the wires to the source and repair.

There is a fuse or circuit breaker somewhere. Don’t know your boat. Probably labeled 12v accessory.

If you aren’t getting power, and your fuses aren’t labeled, use the same test light to test both sides of each fuse while they are in the panel.
The fuse that doesn’t have power on both sides is the bad one.
Also, not sure if you your 1999 still has glass fuses, but if it does, the little clips that hold the fuses in to the block sometimes get loose. If that winds up being your problem, you can change the block itself. It’s a cheap and easy DIY project.
