110 volt issue?

That tracks what they think your using. You need to track what your boat is actually consuming. I would think it unlikely, but the meter may be wired to another load on the dock. If you cant independantly track your consumption, I'd request using another meter for a couple months and compare.

Also, the lightning strike is suspect in my mind. Again request another meter/plug into an empty adjacent meter.

Dumb question, Did you completely winterize the boat and no heat onboard?
You make valid points. But I’m 4 1/2 hours away. It’s hard to monitor monthly usage. The slip beside me is a pontoon. Their shore power is empty. I’ll request they move my power over and see what happens. Thanks guys for all your input. Greatly appreciated

My monthly bill does track the usage. They show me the last reading and the new reading. It tells me units used. So I do track the usage. Lightning fried my battery charger two years ago. It seems since I replaced it, the bills have been fluctuating since then. But it’s a smart charger. Suppose to save me money. Any thoughts on that?

So the usage should be the relatively the same each month you are not there and should not have drastic fluctuations in the usage. If your charger is not defective and boiling your batteries as mentioned, that should not be the issue.

I have a promariner pronautic 1250 (smart charger) and it runs 24/7 and I leave my boat in the water year round. The winter months, like now (dec. bill), my electric is ~20 a month, charger 24/7 and two electric heaters during the day on the weekends. The charger cycles the batteries by letting them get down in voltage then charges them again, a little more involved then that but that's basically what smart chargers do.

Given this only happens in the bill you receive in January (which I assume covers December usage) - could the Marina or somebody be putting up Christmas lights on the dock and plugging them into your pedestal?

Is the marina using your pedestal to run a bubbler or ice eater?
