Hi. I have a a 4 AWG cable w/ Eyelets connectors
which I want to be able to switch from 1 to 2
QUESTION: will I be able to connect to the back of my Guest switch? What does it look like behind this device?
I guess will need to disconnect all the batteries to look.

There are (3) studs behind there. Battery #1, Battery #1 and Feeder. So, yes, ring terminals are what you want. If you back out the 4 screws holding the switch in place, there should be enough slack that you can pull the switch out far enough to work on it.

Hi, Thanks once again for your help
I am installing the 1000 inverter. I guess there is no Neg. terminal behind the switch so I assume that I can pick up any Neg from the Battery?
Thanks John G.

Yes. Don't forget an inline fuse.

On edit: Although, it probably has one built in?

Hi, I actually called the Manufacture and he told me that typically there is no need for the in-line fuse on a 1000w converter but anything larger that in the 1,500 - 2,000 watt range, Yes.

Does that mean he recommends an additional fuse with the larger ones? Or do the larger ones not come with a built-in?

I have no Idear what he was talking about. The reason I called and asked he about a fuse is that I saw it somewhere on-line regarding the use of a 100amp fuse when installing an inverter, since he said I didn't need one I didn't think about it again, maybe I will revisit the issue again and look into the wiring of the unit to see if it has the fuse built in.
