I'm afraid my fuel tank sensors are faulty but want to make sure I'm correctly configuring before I replace.

On my Vessel View - Fuel Tank Configuration

Starboard
Engine - STBD
Tank - TANK!
Type - Fuel
Size - 118.0 Gal
Location S1

Port
Engine - PORT
Tank - TANK1
Type - FUEL
Size - 110.0 Gal
Location - P1

I then hit Check Mark for Continue and then on the Tank Calibration Screen Check Mark for Method 1 Default.

Port tank showed Full and STRB tank less than 1/2. Subsequently filled up and both tanks took right at 25 gallons and both now show full.

Am I doing something wrong in my configuration or does it appear sensors are bad and need replaced????

I assume your tanks are same as mine. Your tanks should both be the same capacity. Mine were marked on the side at 110 gals. each. On my Smartcraft gauges I had different and erratic readings between the tanks. It turned out to be the senders. I had the dealer install Royce senders. These are the ones Sea Ray now recommends. Both my gauges now read the same and do not get stuck or become unresponsive as before. I assume your vessel view is showing just like my gauges did.

I checked for capacity and couldn't find anything...Service manager at dealership looked it up and said port is 110 and strbd is 118.
I feel like senders are bad but want to make sure I'm properly configuring before I go to the expense. Appreciate your reply. I kinda think that's what I'm gonna have to do . It's a real PIMA not have correct readings.

I've believe that the 110/118 capacity is correct too. When you make changes to Vesselview you need to save the changes, which requires holding the X button while someone goes down to the MDP and turns both keys off, otherwise any changes will not be saved.
