08 185 Sport issues NEED HELP

I have an 08 185 sport with 14 hours on it. I will of had it for one year in about a month. In the past month I have had some minor issues. But a lot of them. (in my opinion)

1. Both screws holding glove box door stripped out.
2. Screw that holds little strap for windshield when it is open stripped out.
3. Screws holding fire ext in place pulled out
4. Velcro straps that hold the bimini top to the wakeboard tower fell apart.
5. Screws for wakeboard rack fell out and almost lost rack on one side.
6. Neither wakeboard rack will stay up when you have 2 boards on it.
7. Stress cracks between dash and windshield.

The boat has had a very easy life and has pretty much only been me and my wife every time it goes out.

The dealer is repairing it all under warranty. Should I be mad and expect more?

When you bring it in for its twenty hour service make sure you give the list of problems to them. It should be fixed without charge. Don't quote me though. Nevermind, just read the last line of your entry.

Don't worry, I had MM repair the piano hinge on the port sunpad because screws were stripped. They also replaced the glove box door due to warping from the sun.

Should I be mad and expect more?

No and no. It does seem odd that you've had so many screw issues but I think it's more of a coincidence than anything. All of the items you mentioned are easy to correct so make sure you bring it in while it's still under warranty. It'll all be fine.

Remember that it's a boat, not a car. It's a fine boat, but boats are built differently than cars and they are put through more punishment.

My wife and I have a 2008 185sport with about 55 hours. The only problem I had spo far was the blower fan is out. I am waiting to see if the dealer is going to replace. Anyway, I am in route to my marina to tighten some screws. Also, I do think you have a right to be mad.

+1 to "No and no". Sorry you have had any problems at all, but it doesn't sound "lemony". MM will show you in warranty love...after warranty might be a slightly different kind of love.
