05 340 port side 12v dead

Went to island ran gunny during day shut down everything except water pump and fries at night. This morning no 12v on port side. Starboard engine starts .no port engine. Also generator should be isolated but dead too. Help ! Thanks

I think you'll need to let your starboard engine run long enough to charge the port batteries. At least to the point where you can start the genie. Also do you have an emergency start switch? If so you should use that to get your port engine started. Finally, hindsight being what it is, you should consider carrying a jump-pack on board. Here is the one I carry in each of my vehicles.

Thanks. Got a jump and started genny to charge batteries. Weird that genny battery was dead too. Might need all new batteries. Just got boat and not sure when they were replaced. Boats been on shore power not used.

2005 340SDA uses the port for most of the house functions. Genset should share the starboard bank.

Thanks Kevin the starboard engine would start but not genny. Got a jump so I have generator run for 2 hrs so hopefully everything charged . We will see

You can take your batteries to be tested of they are dead or need to be replaced. I have been stuck with dead batteries a few times now over the years, so I am super paranoid. While not ideal you should be able set up the battery switches so you can start the engine with your house battery in an emergency.
