Btw, is that a grill mounted to the bimini top?

Yes, it is a Magma grill and we use it quite often. There are several different mounting options available for it, I chose the pole mount since I had a bimini top and it is very easy to clamp on and off. I keep it stored in the aft starboard storage compartment, can have it mounted and ready to go in about 5 minutes.

Very nice, We will have to look into one of those for sure. A good addition for a day out on the water no doubt.

I must admit I would have jumped on an mpi. Did you have a harder time finding the mpi? It seems when I was looking that the 4.3 carbed motors are out there more than the mpi?
Still no regrets on our purchase but it just would have been a small bonus.......or as the wifie says "it must be a guy thing" hehe :)

I purchased mine new so no problem getting the power I wanted. You will be just fine with what you have. Just be sure to use an ethanol treatment in your gas or ethanol free gas if you can find it.

If you found a boat with the mpi it would just cost more. Sure its nice but there's nothing wrong with what you have. Unless you absolutely need to go a couple MPH faster.

I see, you purchased new. Agreed no regrets on a few ponies and couple mph. Yea, got the old kawasaki so I am familiar with keeping carbs happy. Chicagoland is rediculous and the only place that sells 100% gas is 75 miles south! Ha! So, the treatments etc will serve me just fine.

I am lucky in that I have an ethanol free gas station about 8 miles from here, we always stop on the way home from out boating trip and fill it up. Good idea to keep the tank full when it is parked as well, as helps keep moisture from being able to build up in there. The only ethanol my engine has ever run was in it's very first tank which was supplied by the dealer.

Yep, copy that on the full tank before puttin her in the garage. I will keep an eye out for stations with no ethanol if we go out a bit further from time to time.

I am jealous. I have to keep our boat behind the garage, it is a separate garage connected to home by a breezeway. The garage is certainly big enough, however it has two single 8 ft garage doors, can not get the boat through the door.
