So this boat has a couple small sinks and a couple sprayers....what goes into filling this system, just insert hose and filler up? Should any bleach be added to keep it from getting nasty?

Also, still dont understand the head...it is the pump out kind. Is that something I can pump out myself? Just marinas? We hope to not use it much but I am sure it still will from time to time

I put a few ounces of bleach into the 20 gallon tank with each Fill up.

The pump out is fairly easy to do. There should be a deck cap just forward of the curve on the port Windshield.

For fresh water fill, just use one of those white food grade hoses. A rubber garden hose will make your water stink, and your coffee taste funny. The need for bleach depends on your turn-over. If it takes months to go through a tank, then yes, you should treat the water. I think the conventional wisdom, is to use your water from the tank, as opposed to the city-water connection. This insures a reasonable turn-over rate, and is much safer, particularly if you forget and leave it connected, then have a pressure regulator blow out.

Pump out is done at the marina typically, although there is nothing that says you couldn't build a pump setup, for discharge into a sewer. One rule I have on my boat is that only liquid goes into the head...ever. This means keeping a plastic bag handy for dainty-wipes and instructing your guests to do their serious business elsewhere.

Thanks...this system is pretty much only for rinsing, not drinking

Shop vac? What specifically is the process?

The sundecks came with a porti potti with a removable tank underneath and no hoses connected to it.... the option was to make it a pump out by adding hoses to it and a deck caP and vent

if you have a pump out you will want to go to a marina To get it vacuumed out.... this is not a good diy job

now you said you weren’t using it much.... I had a sun deck once that had the pump out option.... I disconnected the hoses plugged the holes and took a suitcase of pee home and dumped down the toilet... but we didn’t have any pump outs on our lake.
