Any info on how to repair/replace the plastic glides that fit in channel of companionway door? The door still opens but with great difficulty. Also, heard there are adaptors available to modify the rubber gasket that fits in windshield channel keeping the camper top in place. Any help on either subject welcome.

I have a 2001 270DA. My cabin door was very hard to slide open or closed. I sprayed silicone lube in the aluminum slide channels and the door now opens and closes with ease. Of course my plastic (nylon) slides were OK.

I know the search function sucks but search this topic. It has been discussed many many time in fact recently as I recall. I'm in the camp that strongly advises against lube in the track. Spray it out with water and keep it dirt free. Lube only attracts debris and is certain to exacerbate the problem.
