A couple years ago my port engine wouldn’t turn over intermittently. Ended up being a bad starter. Towards the end of last year i had the same situation with the starboard engine so i had my mechanic replace the starter. Well that’s not it, still happening. Nothing fires or clicks. I guess it could either be my safety switch in the neutral position, the actual rocker switch on the helm and what else? Is there a helper starter solenoid?

There are solenoids on each engine and I would also check the inline fuse.

I've had both of those issues. When it was the helm switch, I could reach up underneath and move the harness a bit and that would solve it (wasn't actually the switch but the connection to the harness). That's something easy to check.
