v drives

This is a great boat with new motors put in in 2009. They have 160hrs and vessel view mobile. 5.7 horizon with v drives. I am meticulous with upkeep. Many new parts. Must see $57,000. I have just sold my 30 ft cruiser, and a dealer I know offered me a 2013 Sundancer with V drives. Since I never owened one that was not a stern, I would like input. Yes, no ? Issues? Plus ? Due to size, if I buy it, it will be kept in wet slip. I can always pick up a 33 I/O. Thanks

Occasional problems are the hard one's to figure out but perhaps someone has a good answer. My port engine will sometimes stall when the boat is first put into gear. But this happens only at the slip. The engine will lug down and there will brief valve clatter typically heard before it stalls...

Both of the dripless stuffing boxes on my 1986 34 Sundancer with v drives are leaking badly. The engines, 454 Crusaders, must come out. How do you do it? The couplers are almost impossible to see, much less get to. Also, the salt water leakage has made everything rusty. I'd appreciate any...
