shoot through hull

Hello. I just purchased the 06 175 sport and I am putting a Lowrance Mark 4 dsi in. I was told that I could epoxy the transducer to the inside of the hull. I would love not to drill holes in the hull. Has anyone done this to this model and if so, where did you place the transducer. thanks.
