    Kill switch, is yellow goo good?

    I just purchased a 1998 Sea. Ray bowrider 180 and I'm just trying to figure out if this yellow goo is okay in the kill switch? Or is it the reason my engine don't shut off when I push it down?

    Hello from Tampa Florida! Not my first boat but my first SeaRay!

    2000 SeaRay 240 Sundeck . Runs great, minimal issues (2 gauges don’t work and speakers needed to be replaced). I have had it out in the water a dozen or so times and so far all is well.
