oil tube

I have a Mercruiser 7.4 Bravo 2 and I am having the hardest time finding which hole the oil dipstick tube bracket goes into. It was a rebuild and the mechanics put the bracket way up high at the gear lube fill tank. The tube keeps popping out of oil pan because I know it supposed to be lower...
