key

Hello, I purchased the boat around two months ago with two main engine keys. I would always use the same key, turn it to the "on" position, an obnoxiously loud constant high pitch sound would turn on, I'd start the engine and the sound would go away. Then I lost the main key. So, two days...

So I made it all the way back to about 100 feet from my marina and I stalled (which happens if I put it in neutral too fast). No big deal so I go to start it up again (2004 SR 220) and when I turn the key I feel something break inside the switch and now the key just freely turns. Cannot start...

has anyone else run into this? the cabin door will not lock from inside the cabin. and do not have the key to try from out side the cabin. (just ordered the key at the sea ray dealer) i am afraid that the latch is no good and i just ordered a key for a latch that does not work.
