air fitting

I have a 2005 Sea Ray 270 Amberjack with 496 Mercruiser Mag engine. I recently replaced the raw water pump. Now I have a small hose coming off the top of the pump (above the air fittings) that is not connected to anything. I don't remember disconnecting it and don't see any place for it to...
