260 hp mercruiser

I have a 1987 260hp 350cu in my 87' 250 Sundancer. Just bought it this past winter. I have had a problem with the alternator belt squealing. I have to tighten the belt almost every time out. I am curious if anyone has changed the pulleys and installed a serpentine belt system. I hope to hear...
