I had never used the adapter until yesterday, 1 November as my battery switch got left on during storage ashore for the two hurricanes here in eastern NC. Dock hand fetch their 12v booster starter battery unit and from the original bag of "stuff", there was the adapter complete with...
my boat is a 2005 320 twin 350's raw water cooled via thru hull. I have owned her since March 07.
port motor was overheating sometimes at idle but for sure just after going on plane. all parts checked out on hoses, pumps thermostat circulating pump. exhaust manifolds were replaced January...
All issues have been resolved because my exhaust manifolds were clogged and not moving water efficiently. replaced all manifolds risers and elbows on both motors to even out my worries and baseline the histories. The boat is running as well as day I bought in 2007.

Thank you...seems like a poor design by SR but surely other owners must have worked around and fixed the issue. Prior owner took out the offending bulbs in those two fixtures over the control panel. All other lights have their own on/off switches so maybe just find the offending lights and add...
I would like to be able to turn on and off selected lights in the galley. The switch as you start down the stairs on the left turns on my lighting below decks. I would like to be able to just turn on lighting at a select spot, like the bedding area to read but in order to do so, I must leave...
I use oxyclean. Wet surface and sprinkle on surface to be cleaned. Gentle spray to wet it and make paste. Spread with a brush and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes but keep it wet. Often all comes up without scrubbing too. Works great on swim platform.

I am hoping to get some assistance with understanding timing and how to set it on my 2005 320 5.7L Sundancer. I am looking at the knock sensor and it might need cleaning as we are getting some wild shifts in RPMs above 3700. I can hear it knocking, but it is not auto adjusting as I read it is...
I had a tech diagnose my non working right side instrument panel as defective since everything was getting power (horn, window, wipers, etc.). He ran into all kinds of personal issues and has moved on. He left a module block hanging loose that connects most of these components and maybe...
Found a chunk of plastic wrapper about an inch plus square in the cooler after back washing the cooler. Caught discharge in a bucket and back running much cooler now.

I am getting overheating but good water flow. The tranny cooler intake comes straight off pump so want to clean out but have replaced impeller pump and thermostat and oil looks black so will change it too. Previous boat had carbureted 7.4L bravo 3 and it did have an oil cooler that could...
I know where the transmission oil cooler is located but not sure if there is a separate one for engine oil. I have looked at parts manuals and the only cooler I can find is the one that sits on forward side of engine and has raw water line straight from seawater pump.
Thanks for help

Thank you and off now to see if I can get this sucker off and replaced today! I tossed out an old pump and wish I had it now just to see it for orientation purposes
What is the best way to remove that pump assembly to replace the impeller on the 350 mag motor? It looks like I am going to be working in the blind here as I can barely see the bolts or I will have to feel for them. I think that there are only 3, but want to be sure.
Does anyone recommend...
Sister in law and her family are all in the Seattle area. Spent a week there in May and loved it. Great pics and loved the trip to Ranier too.

Thanks for the feedback...I still might yank the gas filter but the 1/4 drive is a good idea with the swivel too. Like the tape idea also. Great investment in a magnet that I tied to a length of line and can pull it across the bilge too instead of losing them to some obscure corner.

2005 V-Drives and raw water cooled. My neighbor and I did a infrared temp test to day and the gauges are almost dead on accurate.
I pulled the hose off the oil cooler (mounted on the "bow side" of the motor) and was hoping that was going to be the issue, but a little rust and nothing else...
All looks good and my diver's report from last week did indicate strong marine growth on all intakes, but he said he got them all cleaned as well as possible.
Nothing in the strainers either and I did pump a gallon of barnacle buster through this motor and let it sit over night last week.

All new from the exhaust manifolds, spacer, and risers replaced. New impellers on both motors and a new raw water pump on the port as well.
New water pressure switch added about 2 months back and pressure is actually a bit better on the port motor. My belt is definitely loose and another old...
