yea working now, thanks. it was either t-stat housing gasket, or teflon tape on sender unit. i fixed both and now it works :)

hi!, its a carburetor. when i was doing the timing, i connected the purple/white wire to one of the open grounds, which i believe put it in base timing mode.

ok, sounds good, i have the aviator liquid. do you put the aviator on the grounding lugs on the t-stat gasket or only around the outlet? im going to do this this morning and also remove the teflon tape. do you use aviator on the threads of the 2 screw in temp senders also?

hello! i have these 2 wires in my harness, towards the starboard side rear of my carburetor. one of them was taped up with electrical tape, but the other one was as is. can anyone let me know what these were for, or if i need them hooked up to anything. thanks very much :)
