Sold my 2001 290 Amberjack with inboards and now own a 2270 Kodiak Pursuit.
I will continue to view the forum as I have before. I enjoy reading post and helping anyway i can.
2001 290 Amberjack with 350 Horizons. When pushing the start buttons to the run position prior to pushing and engaging the starter, I get 2 warning beeps.
Is this normal?
Need some help diagnosing an engine problem. Starboard motor will not go above 3300 rpm feels sluggish runs rough and has a gas/fuel smell. Maybe fuel sheen out exhaust also. Port engine is fine. I am sure not related but this was after an oil change.
Looking for Amberjack owners with inboards. I have a few questions. Seems like I am running to fast to get boat on plane.
1. Prop Dia. and Pitch
2. Planning Speed
3. Plaining RPM's
4. WOT
5. Top Speed
Any info would be appreciated.
I am looking at a 2001 290 AJ and it appears that the trim tabs changed sizes from 12x12 to 12x18. Is this an easy change to make and what would the advantage be fro the larger tabs. The boat has horizon inboard set-up. Thanks..
