Hello, just wondering if anyone has had a fuel smell coming from a 2004 model 185 sport? It only seems to be intermittent when I open the covers after it's stored. When I get my nose close to the tank and hose area im sure the smell gets stronger but if I leave the covers open for half an hour...

Hey just throw a spanner in the works, you may want to talk to CAPA or Castlemaine rod shop about fitting a low boost supercharger to your 3L it may just give that little bit more HP and be a cheaper option!

Ive got the running on problem too and i have thought about approaching a carburettor specialist to install an ignition switched solenoid in the idle passage to close it off when the key is turned off as they do in cars.I know it will be a tricky operation but i think it may solve a big problem...

Has anyone had the problem of the engine running on after you turn the key off on a Carby 190hp V6? Everything seems normal with the engine temp and tune ect. I was reading about adjusting the idle mixtures on the 3.0L engines has anyone done it with the V6?:huh:
