I finally got out to look at the boat and...both panels of the doors are still hanging from the upper tracks the way they are supposed to, but there is a pin at the bottom edge that slides in a track screwed to the floor. The pin is out of the track...so that is the culprit. Thanks for...
I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with the sliding door that closes off the forward stateroom. Mine has worked flawlessly until this year....all of a sudden it is giving me a problem. When I try to close the door, the first panel slides out no problem, then it engages the second panel..it...
Hey Team PCBeach....I’m interested to know how your project turned out. I have a 2005 360DA and want to do something similar. Replace my Raymarine C80, autopilot, radar and VHF units with modern Simrad stuff. The GO 9 looks like a good fit to where the C80 is now, and it looks like I can...
I would suggest you put a thermometer in the freezer and see if you are setting it much colder than necessary. I had this problem with the condensation until I found out I was setting it way too cold. Dialing up the temp to about zero to 10 degrees F made the problem go away. Let me know if...
I'm still not 100% clear what you are pulling on. There is a metal "handle" right under the TV that has the SR logo on it. I'll assume that's what you're push/pull on. On my boat, there is an electric solenoid that needs to be energized in order to release the TV to slide out. To energize...
Still having an issue with this? I have removed my TV on my 2005 360DA and replaced it with a flat screen, so I am familiar with the construction.
Are you simply trying to pull the TV out on it's tracks, or are you trying to remove the TV entirely? (Is the solenoid actuating which releases...
Another option is the Olsson Mfg. davit system. http://boatdavit.com/Products.aspx#TrascomDavits
I have the ST-275 on my 360DA. I haul up a RIB with 15hp Yamaha (2-stroke). I've lived with it for a few years now and would say that it has ups and downs, like anything. On the up side....I...
My $0.02...... we really love our 360. Big pluses, include the deeper vee angle (which really shows up in rougher water...I don't think you'll find a boat in this size/style that does better in that regard) and the cockpit layout (I really don't like the wrap around seating in the newer...
We had this problem too, until I put a thermometer in the freezer and realized I had it turned down WAY too cold! If I keep it somewhere near 0 degrees F and 15 degrees F I no longer get any condensation. My suggestion is to get one of those digital thermometers that keeps track of max/min and...
I'm curious as to what kind of bug spray you use for anti-spiders, and if you've been applying it to your fiberglass? I've been afraid to put anything on the fiberglass for fear of causing some kind of damage.
I would NOT recommend silicone sealant. The dealer put some on mine. It didn't fix the problem, and it just turned yellow. I'm going to scrape it off and try something else this spring. Truly this is a chronic, design issue. Would love to fnd the "fix."
Here's another 360 owner, from the Great Lakes State. It's a balmy 7 degrees here right now. Boat is tucked away. But the Detroit Boat Show is coming up, and that always gets the boat fever going again.
The issue on the 360 was a little unique, I think. Had condensation around the freezer door. But as posted in some other threads, I found I had the temperature set WAY too low. Setting it to a more reasonable temperature seems to have stopped it.
I'd guess there is a leak in the water...
Update on the freezer condensation issue.....I put an electronic temp gauge in my freezer and discovered that the setting I had been adjusting to was producing VERY cold temps! I kept dialing the setting back until I got to about 15 degrees F. This setting is barely above the "off" detent...
My dingy is an AB 9.5' weighs about 150lbs
My motor is 15 hp Yamaha 2 stroke, weighs about 80 lbs.
I don't have any close up photos and won't be out to the boat until next weekend, but basically there are two pivot points that mount at the rear edge of the swim playform. I backed those up...
Continueing...
Plus:
easy to lift dingy and motor together
Leaves room on the platform.
Easy to remove completely (except for two small brackets.
Minus:
Requires significant additional tie down while cruising
Weight is hanging pretty far off the back.
Overall....I definitely like better...
I wrote to SeaRay before I purchased my dingy and davit, asking about the load rating and if my estimated 250 pounds was going to be OK. Below is what a guy wrote back, and saying that I will be OK.
I don't have the same boat as you, but my swim platform is the same type so maybe this...
