There is a wood block attached to the cushion backing that the latch screws through and does not go all the way through to the fiberglass. The foam is cut out around it and goes over it but thin.
Unfortunately no access door. I’m just going to use the SS hook and eye method and surface mount that one cushion. Just hope and pray due to the transom door clipping to it. I hope it doesn’t shift.
There is carpet but the fiberglass comes down and sections it off. Also the speaker is in the sink area so that won’t work. I think I may go with the clip method and not put holes through the new cushions. Thank you!!
This one on the starboard side that the transom door clips to is the worst. Can’t get to it from under the sink and I would need to remove the motor and water storage tank to climb back in there. Bad timing since I literally just put a new motor in last month and if I realized I would have done...
