Hi all! I have a 92 mercruiser 4.3 in my 230 Sundancer. The thermostat housing is rusted out and looking for a replacement. Maybe me is stamped 16413-c. I see some for sale that look the same but say are 97110. Is there a difference I don’t see?

Well I removed the alpha 1 gen 2 lower unit to replace the water pump. When I separated the lower half, three small triangular plates fell to the ground along with a piece of rubber (looks to been part of a seal). Any idea on the three plates?
