I'm not sure what you're talking about. Not really wanting to cut thru the hull tho. I'd prefer to keep the factory look, and just figure out what is causing the WOT problem and the starting problem.

pretty sure the CF is factory, the people I bought boat from was original owners and moved south from Chicago. Told me they had never had any issues with the boat except tilt trim gauge not working.

Exactly part of my point. I recently found that my boat came with a 13.75x21p 3 blade mercury vantage prop. And sea ray says my boat will do 55 mph with that prop atleast everything I've seen in the old brochures says top speed 55 mph. But I cant break 42 mph on the best day with a calm water...
