Whatever the ratio of the drive, if propped correctly you should get the performance. You know it’s propped correctly if you’re getting the desired rpm range at WOT.

Talk to Mercury and figure out if the cool fuel modules have already been replaced. If they have a record of of work done on your boat (give them your engines serial numbers) maybe they can tell you if the fuel rails and injectors have been checked and cleaned as well. On my boat, 496 mag..the...

No, the reason I had it rebuilt was my own ham handedness. While doing the plugs/wires I moved the fuel line too much causing the line out of the module to leak. I sent it out to get fixed and the tech informed me that the unit has already been updated.

Possibly..it’s got to be something..if so, then it may actually be the result of having that one battery with higher cca than specified. Be nice if that’s the reason.
