I found this: http://goosebaylumber.reachlocal.com/?scid=660667&kw=5188373 not far from me. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay?
I figure I need 2 sheets. Hoping that's it.
Wow! Thank you for the info! I will say that I called HD and asked. They had NO idea what I was looking for. Sad, really. I'll keep looking. A friend suggested I try some synthetic material. I may look into it if it is as rugged ad 3/4" plywood.
I'm not on here very often. I'm sorry if this has been covered - repeatedly. I am needing to replace some of the floors - and likely a bit more - in the Weekender. I live on the coast in NH. You'd think it would be easy to find marine plywood. Not so much. I have called everywhere I can...
I am happy to admit operator error. Crazy current + trim tabs all the way down + outdrive trimmed up gave the illusion of issues. I had it in the water all last weekend fully loaded with no issues at all.
I just need more summer now.
Agreed. Simple would be good. I'm dragging it down the hill to the marina when I get home.
For the record: George's Marina in Dover, NH. Can't say enough good things about them. George appears to be a straight shooting - no bull**** - kind of guy. He has done work for me on my previous...
Thank you for the replies. Let me clarify.
When in forward, I can spin very easily with clicking in one direction. When I try to spin it the other direction, I have to really work to get it to move - but I do get it to move a fair amount. The whole prop and shaft turn. I can "feel" it...
Obviously not running....
Maybe a stupid question. Sorry if you feel it is.
While out the other night just cruising up the river, it felt like the prop kept coming out of the water - engine would rev up a bit - then catch.
I searched around here a bit. Didn't really know how to say what I...
1997 JEEP Wrangler
2000 Tahoe
1996 Volvo 850 Turbo.
The JEEP is the DD. The Tahoe sees very few miles (only a short hop to the launch). The wife drives the Volvo - and will never give it up.
WOW - that's a great deal.
The local marina here charges $2000 for the season for the slip, water, and power. There is wifi. It is sketchy, but it's there.
We lived in St. Lucia for a few years. Loved it. Would recommend it to anyone - anytime. Simply amazing.
When we needed to "get away", we would go to Bequia. http://www.bequiatourism.com/island.htm. Great little island. The locals are very nice. Great food. Great diving.
Winterized the boat myself last fall. Spent the long cold winter wondering if I screwed it up. I went out the other night and peeled the tarp off the frame. Put the drain plugs in, took the plastic off the outdrive, tightened the belts back up, hooked the batteries up, pumped the throttle...
I've never been a real big fan of winter. Living in St. Lucia for a few years really did me in. We moved back here so the wife could get her MBA. All of a sudden, we bought a house - had a few kids - settled in. Every time the damned oil truck pulls up and fills the tanks, I think of how it...
